Our founders - Dr. Chenraj Roychand, also the Founder Chairman of JAIN Group and Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), and Ms. Aparna Prasad, also the Director of Communications and Human Resources at JAIN Group and JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) had a vision of making experiential learning a reality wherein the learners get practical knowledge and proficiency; thus Knowledgeum Academy was started.
The Academy offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (Grade 11 and 12) in the heart of Bengaluru.

Dr. Chenraj Roychand, a distinguished Indian educationist, entrepreneur, angel investor and philanthropist with over 40 years of experience, is the Founder Chairman of the JAIN Group and the Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). Dr. Roychand is instrumental in building institutions of educational excellence that develop intellectual capital for the benefit of the nation and society by providing contemporary, market-driven, globally accepted education rooted in universal human values.
Along with creating educational opportunities, Dr. Roychand also initiated angel-investing firms, which provide the platform for youngsters to become entrepreneurs. He has been instrumental in incubating and mentoring students. Dr. Roychand’s contribution towards social responsibility initiatives and his profound inspirational aura has earned him numerous awards, titles and recognitions. Some of his accolades include, Dr. B C Roy Award from Indian Medical Association Award for Leading Personalities, Rajasthan Youth Association Award for Service in Education Sector, Kempegowda Award for remarkable contribution in the field of education, etc. He was also conferred with an honorary degree of Doctor of Literature for his contribution to social work, education and philanthropy by Mangalore University, Karnataka.
Ms. Aparna Prasad, Founder, Knowledgeum Academy is an edupreneur, innovative leader and a proactive strategist with over 20 years of expertise in Organisational Strategy, Human Resources, and Communications. Knowledgeum Academy has been her dream project wherein she envisioned experiential learning that had the potential of evolving into a project-based, hands-on and a deep learning experience for its learners. She delved into the concept of mentoring the learning environment of the learner who imbibes empathy, skills, and creativity in order to face the challenges ahead in life with a holistic approach.
Ms. Aparna Prasad also provides leadership to The Human Resources and Communications wing of JAIN Group that houses 65+ institutions across India. She also serves various leadership positions such as Principal Officer, Member of the Board of Management and Member of the Academic Council within JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), one of the prominent institutions of JAIN Group.
