Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The IB Diploma Programme is a two-year pre-university qualification (Grades 11–12)
designed for learners aged 16–19. It combines academic depth with experiential learning
through its core components — TOK, EE, and CAS.
Each subject is graded on a scale of 1–7. Up to three additional points are awarded
for Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay, bringing the maximum score to 45.
While the IB is highly valued by international universities, many Indian institutions
also recognise the programme. It benefits any learner who wants strong critical
thinking, research, and communication skills.
