Can IB Students Crack Competitive Exams Like JEE and NEET?
The International Baccalaureate (IB) board offers the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) to students at pre-university levels. IBCP students take at least two IBDP subjects among other career-related subjects, however, eligibility criteria for IIT programmes require students to study a full-time two-year programme, which criteria IBCP does not meet. In IBDP, students can choose the foundational subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics on which the JEE and NEET tests are based. IB students are eligible to apply to the Engineering and Medical Science programmes in India. Their ability to crack the competitive entrance exams for these courses is dependent on how strong their fundamentals are and the preparation they have put in.

CBSE syllabus for Science subjects is more vast than IB and the course is more theory-driven.
