Communicate and liaise on a regular basis with fellow team department/grade members with regard to planning, assessment, parent and community contact, subject organisation and classroom issues including discipline, expectations and routines.
Take an active role in behavioural management and pastoral care of class groups.
Attend and constructively contribute to staff meetings.
Maintain up-to-date records of assessment, attendance, planning, reports, conferences, and communication with parents.
Contribute at least 15 hours beyond the regular contract time to supervise student activities.
Participate in and assist with school events as required.
Lead Diploma faculty in the development and delivery of ToK within the curriculum
Be responsible for developing systems that monitor student progress and performance throughout the ToK course
Attend scheduled bi-monthly ToK update meetings with the Diploma Coordinator
Be responsible for scheduling and deadlines of both the essay and presentation requirements within the School
Be responsible for monitoring the progress and upload of the ToK Essay within Myschool one
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Recent and relevant professional development in teaching and learning.
Experience in using and understanding design technology to develop learning units.
Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Experience working in an IB Diploma & IGCSE school.
TOK working experience with assistant or examiner knowledge (ideal)
Knowledge of the TOK and Extended Essay assessment framework
